Filippa K was founded in 1993, in Stockholm by Filippa Knutsson and Patrik Kihlborg. The Filippa K philosophy is based on the values of style, simplicity and quality. Fall/ Winter 2012 collection was inspired by a modern way of dressing up. The minimal looks embraced the functionality of the sports world by applying it to the wardrobe of a well-dressed man. The raw, contemporary looks were filled with hidden utilitarian details combined with handpicked pieces, and accessories that reflected the world of travel. Materials were technical and rustic, such as functional nylons, boiled wool, sharp cotton and tweed with raw edges. Welded and taped seams added smart functionality. The finishing of designs were sharp and precise. The color range focused on the metallic variations, graphic black and off-white. Filippa K applied functionality and simplicity to satisfy the needs of a modern man.
