The Mumbai-based Abdul Halder started his fashion career with a major break, while he designed attire for Michael Jackson in 2002. After that, Abdul Halder kept on moving forward in the fashion world by endlessly carrying the passion in his heart. Targeting the major fashion market, Abdul Halder showcased prêt-à-porter in Paris to capture the international market place. It helped the designer to place the collection in front of the world. Abdul Halder currently is dominating the market with his extraordinary sense of creativity and innovation. His designs include ethnic, western wear for women and men. Abdul Halder displayed a range of elaborate designs with excessive detailing and textures. The pastel hued collection mainly featured dresses adorned with appliques Zardosi, sequins, decorative patterns and texturing. The asymmetrical hems, sheerness and contrasting detailing were the highlights in the collection, which showed a mix of colors in aqua, green, citrus orange, red and muted gold in fabrics, like Chantilly, lace, Lycra, net, and cotton Lycra.
