A top Japanese designer Hiroko Koshino presented her 2014 collection “The Story of Light and Shadow” at the Garden Hall, Tokyo. The theme was about the manipulation of light and shadow. She started with a vivid color palette, which kept changing into different variations of shades as the show progressed. The bright colors were toned down with white and silver tones, then the black color appeared, which was replaced with color blocking. Hiroko Koshino, who used conflicting elements like the transience of light and shadow, was able to recreate it and disclosed the harmony that occurred between these components. As a result, the collection was original, innovative, and feminine.
