Serbian designer Ivana Murišić studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade and graduated in 2010. Her first work was displayed in the contest for young talent, which was organized by Grazia magazine. The graduate collection “Wayang Kulit” was showcased at Belgrade Fashion Week in 2010. Ivana Murišić created the first independent collection “Ode to the Sun” in 2011. The same year the designer opened her first store within the Belgrade Design District. Ivana Murišić presented her new collection Fall/Winter 2014-15 “Zentangle 2″ in the Fashion Gallery during the Belgrade Fashion Week. It was a continuation to the previous collection. The starting point of the lineup was the desire for experimentation of lines and liner surfaces. Ivana Murišić embodied the stripes of fabric that were entangled with metal elements. A unique combination of leather and a knitted detail with tin and brass elements was employed in the collection. Predominantly black, red, magenta and gold colors were injected into the designs. The silhouettes emphasized on the whole figure including the waist and hips. Ivana Murišić composed timeless, strong and handmade garments.
