London-based talented millinery Lara Jensen embraced the European costumes and art of Roccoco – Georgian era as the source of her inspiration for the new collection “Deficit”. This period is remembered for its excessive and opulent garments. The title was chosen in a relation to Marie Antoinette’s overspending on the clothing, which brought France to a great debt. Lara Jensen, who loves history and politics, also reminded to the society on the over-consumption of luxury goods. She employed a high quality silk dupioni and 18k rose gold to craft the headgear. The collection displayed amazing and original headpieces.
