Natasha Zinko Fall/Winter 2013-14, Kiev

Ukrainian designer Natasha Zinko introduced a new collection Fall/Winter 2013-2014 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Kiev. She was inspired by prehistoric pterodactyls, which presence was visible in the prints, applications and asymmetrical silhouettes. The dresses with trains were bisected at the bottom in a shape of wings of extinct reptiles, and the compound structure pieces from leather and organza symbolized the scale. Also, Natasha Zinko was influenced by the East. The pterodactyl theme was expressed with the help of traditional Japanese motifs – kimono robe with wide sleeves, without buckles, with the emphasis on the shoulders and waist. Natasha Zinko continued to apply the DNA of the label, like rich bright colors, volumes, femininity and substantial shoes, which were specially made for the show. A world famous Ukrainian model Alla Kostromichova opened and closed the runway. The collection was full of playful, unique and feminine creations.
