Outhouse brand was started by sisters Sasha and Kaabia Grewal in 2011. The jewelery label is a fusion of contemporary style and rich craftsmanship. The duo uses a myriad of colors, textures and stones in their designs. Sasha and Kaabia Grewal presented a new jewelery collection “The Column” at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014. It was inspired by a junction of proto-geometric Greece art and linear meanders of Rome. Sasha and Kaabia Grewal draped the gold like liquid silk and molded it firmly to show the versatility of gold. The jewelery was adorned with semi-precious stones: amber, lapis lazuli, turquoise, pearls and garnets. Chokers, Maang Tikkas, Haath Phools, body harnesses, ornate gloves, ear and finger cuffs, leather/tassel shoulder dusters, cross body leather/gold belts, neckpieces with spikes and etc. were transformed into magical pieces. Famous Indian designer Jatim Varma provided the striking garments to match the grandeur and unconventional Outhouse jewelery entwined by Sasha and Kaabia Grewal.
