Ricardo Dourado chose the environment and energy of the people that live in Soweto, as the inspiration for Fall 2013 collection. The silhouettes were bulky with volume, and straight and sleeveless. Ricardo Dourado introduced ethnic and urban clothing. There were African prints combined with unique neoprene fabrics, faux fur, large deep side pockets in the dresses and etc. All of the different parts of collection were built with overlapping seams and allowed to see the duality of fabrics. Ricardo Dourado channeled innovative, modern and original designs.
