Designer and architect Sabrina Persechino designs collections that are inspired by contemporary artists. Her latest collection “BaRock” for Fall/Winter 2013-14 was featured at AltaRomAltaModa Fashion Week in Italy. The starting point in the collection was the symbol of classicism – domes. Sabrina Persechino injected the union between baroque and rock, which was transformed into clothes with textures, geometric cuts, and etc. The designer employed satin, mikado, ottoman, chiffon, Georgette, velvet, silk, wool, and damask fabrics. White, gold, silver, black and shades of brown dominated on the runway. The shape of the large scales in the garments reminded of roofs in the churches. It was innovative, feminine and cutting-edge collection topped with clean lines, precise elaborate details and impeccable tailoring.
