Vardoui Nazarian finished her high school in Armenia. Later on, she graduated from the University of Design and Technology in Moscow. First, Vardoui Nazarian worked in the design studio. Then she was engaged in visual merchandising at the Central Universal Department Store in Moscow and she designed wardrobe for the classical concerts. She founded her own label under the namesake in 2007. Her first independent collection was presented at the Ritz Carlton in Moscow. Vardoui Nazarian was invited to participate in a “Russian Silhouette” and to present the collection in Cannes. The designer showcased some collections at the Cycles and Seasons by MasterCard. Vardoui Nazarian uses the unique architecture and art of Armenia as a source of inspiration. All of the collections distinguish total simplicity while at the same time unveiling the complexity of design and unusual elements. The combination of naturalness and the depth of ambiguity became a landmark for Vardoui Nazaryan and allowed her to become one of the most promising Russian designers. The contemporary Armenian arist Mayis Mkhitaryan was one of the sources of inspiration for the new collection Pre-Fall 2015. His deep dashes of red colors have inspired the color spectrum in the lineup. Vardoui Nazarian continued to celebrate the femininity from the past and the traditions of her ancestors through her creations by fusing them into a modern life.
