Yasutaka Funakoshi, the creative director of alice auaa, presented a new collection “The time in your bed” at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo. This show told a story about a young girl who was under a sleeping spell by a magician. The models wore signature corsets, lace panties, see-thru coverups and etc. on the runway. Some of the headpieces had light bulbs hidden under the brims. Alice auaa channeled dark, dramatic and avant-garde garments with references to lingerie, Gothic and asymmetric elements.
