PHENOMENON label was founded in 2004 by Takeshi Osumi. The brand’s concept is expressed as “music”, which is popular among young Japanese men. The clothes have an urban and American hip-hop influence with a Tokyo street sensibility and high quality manufacturing. This season Takeshi Osumi applied British and Scottish aesthetics. The double-breasted duffel coats and knitted sweaters were combined with leather. Strong red was the new color that was mixed with classical colors like beige. There were the houndstooth patterns and tartan used in a combination with other materials. Takeshi Osumi played with different elements, patterns and styling to keep the collection young, desirable and innovative.
