For the resort 2015, Sarah Burton was influenced by the traditional Japanese kimono silhouettes and the works of Matisse. The looks were sculpted, sharp and clean. Sarah Burton proposed leather dresses with laser cuts, coats and dresses with exaggerated hips, pieces adorned with Perspex flower petals, gowns embellished with silk flowers that created a 3D effect, a bomber jacket and a coat collaged from mink, and so on. The collection unveiled beautiful, feminine and modern creations that reflected Sarah Burton’s vision and esthetics.
