Anna Syczewska studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland and University of Wolverhampton in UK. She created the label Anniss for both men and women in 2011. The brand reflects aesthetics on the border of costume and subcultural fashion. Each season the pieces carry a flavor of futurism, fetish and reinterpreted elegance. The collection “Circus” for the Spring/Summer 2014 was inspired by the image of a clown – harlequin. Anna Syczewska played with contrasts, geometric forms, colors and scaling. The silhouettes of A and V letters had a strong presence in each look. Natural fabrics such as high quality cotton, fine linen, silk and denim were used in the making of garments. Anna Syczewska displayed a feminine, modern and exuberant lineup.
